Lipidomics Expertise Platform (LEP) - description, aims

Description of the LEP:

• This platform gathers information on institutions involved in lipidomics.
• The platform includes databases for lipidomics expertise, lipid standards and methods.

Aims of the LEP:

• The platform is a source for establishing taskforces.
• ELIfe participants are recruited from each taskforce.
• The platform serves to initiate national and European networks and grant applications.
• The platform encourages scientific and industrial relationships.
• The included databases serve for methodological and standard material exchange.

Who has access to LEP?

• Search databases will be opened to all intersted in lipidomics (at the moment it is restricted
  to registered users).
• To enter information into databases registration is required. Registration will be approved
  by LEP committee.
